Jellyfish Rocket Launch over Hogwarts and Universal 🪼 | Bandwagon-5

Absolutely insane morning launch (and quite the adventure to capture this photo!)

The launch was a rideshare mission of multiple satellites on a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket called Bandwagon 5. I can only assume they named it this in honor of my daughter’s 5th birthday (which was the same day)

I started the morning driving towards the coast for a launch time of 6:30am and a prediction of an epic jellyfish. Upon arriving to my destination, I saw that the launch had been pushed to just after 7:00. This meant that the jellyfish would be more pronounced inland (where the sunrise is a tad bit later). So, I brainstormed for a bit in my car trying to think of options. With a rough plan in hand, I drove 50 miles over to Universal!

Luckily, I had a broomstick with me (read: drone) to be able to capture this angle!
