Cherry Blossoms

In March of 2023, I visited the Tidal Basin area in Washington D.C. in a "photographic pilgrimage" to see the Cherry Blossoms. They were in peak bloom and the experience did not disappoint. My day began before 5am as I journeyed into the city to be in place at first light.  The entire day had a perfect cloudless sky allowing for great pops of blue in the background.
